  I will introduce my favorite meat and part. My favorite meat is pork. Of course, I like beef, chicken, duck and many other kinds of meat, but pork has a variety of flavors and tastes. For example, pork loin includes a white meat part and a red meat part together, so that various flavors can be enjoyed. Of course, it contains more fat than other meat, but it is not a big problem today because of the development of technology, it is possible to remove the fat, there are various varieties of pork, and many people enjoy the fat flavor.

Brief information of pork : Pigs are the most commonly consumed meat worldwide. Especially, it is used in Asian cuisine, but it is forbidden to eat for religious reasons by law such as Judaism and Islam. Pork features proper fat content and good texture can be cooked freshly and can be preserved in various forms for a long time. For example, there are ham, bacon, and Jamón. In the past, food was preserved through various storage methods to preserve the food for a long time, but nowadays, it has been processed to produce a richer taste than preservation. One of the reasons that pigs became the most common food for humans is that they grow fast. Pigs can be mated when they are 8 months old and the gestation period is about 4 months, and it can give birth to 8 ~ 12 pups at a time. The main varieties are Landrace, Yorkshire, Berkshire, Durok, Hampshire, and others are The spotted pig, Chester white and Polish China.

One of the best way for pork rib : One of the most popular cooking methods to minimize the loss is barbecue . If barbecue method is chosen, tough part and fat par will not be a big problem, and  if this parts are included it in the cooking, those part will create a better flavor, and the tough part can be consumed without problems because of long cooking time.



Pork Bone Soup (rib)


 Othe cooking methods are braising and stewing. A typical example of a stewing dish is a pork bone soup which can be found in Korean restaurants. It usually is boiled using the neck bone or backbone of the pork, but can boils with the pork rib. As a representative food of braising, Pork Galbi Jjim. It is a cooking method that cooks for a long time by putting meat and vegetables like Western braiding food.

 What is Braising? :  it is boiled with a small amount of liquid in a pot covered with meat and vegetables to concentrate and strengthen the liquid's flavor and soften the meat completely dissolved in the mouth.
